“I am a Lecturer at the Center for African Studies at Stanford University. I am a journalism scholar with a primary research interest in the coverage of Africa in international news, both in terms of content and production. I have notably conducted interviews with foreign correspondents in South Africa and Kenya. I join the MeCoDEM project to work on journalistic ethics and practice in Kenya, and I look forward to exploring the role and functioning of local media in democratisation conflicts.”
