“I am Professor of Journalism at Stockholm University, and my main area of interest in this project is the role played (or not played) by social media in periods of transition, and how the use of technology can both aid and hinder such transitions. My role will be to work with team members and help devise research and analytical strategies for examining the use of ICTs in Egypt, South Africa, Serbia and Kenya.”
